music album covers

music album coversThis is intended to be the first of a whole lot of articles and play lists dealing with the music, books, art, movies, sports etc. you and I prefer, and these are some of my favorite albums of all times. I’m not sure about the order yet, but just to say it with Eddie Vedder’s words: “how much difference does it make?” (Pearl Jam – Indifference). And how about sharing your suggestions, tips and top album lists? So finally, even though I still find it really hard to leave out so many of my favorite artists and albums, here’s what I may define my Top Ten Albums of All Times:

1. G. Love and Special Sauce – Self Titled Album

2. Pearl Jam – Vs.

3. Jeff Buckley – Grace

4. Tom Waits – Closing Time

5. Dire Straits – Brothers In Arms

6. Joe Cocker – Mad Dogs and Englishmen

  2. Ciao Luca,

it’s a great idea! you know how much i like
such lists. Of course i will publish my personal top 10 albums. It’s not easy but i will give it a try.

    1. Led Zeppelin – II
    2. Bruce Springsteen – Born To Run
    3. The Beatles – Abbey Road
    4. Tom Waits – Closing Time
    5. Bright Eyes – I’m Wide Awake It’s Morning
    6. The Doors – The Doors

    8. Radiohead – OK Computer
    9. Van Morrison – It’s Too Late To Stop Now
    10. B.B. King – Live At The Regal

That’s it. Seems to me that i’m drifting more and more into “Classic Rock”
but i guess that this is my actual list. It’s changing all the times but it’s the snapshot of May, 2nd, 2011.

I did not forget Bob Dylan, G. Love, Jeff Buckley, Pearl Jam, U2,
AC/DC, Oasis, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, James Brown, Nirvana and many others. But it’s just 10 albums, so this is my selection.

I’m waiting for your next post! You’ll hear of me soon.
