skylyro's Top 10 Albums of 2014

1. Jack White – Lazaretto: a 70s album in the 21st century

I have to admit I was not familiar with Jack White’s discography, nor was I with the White Stripe’s, apart from the stadium anthem Seven Nation Army, of course. After listening to Mr. White’s new album Lazaretto, which is a great piece of a rock, blues and folk album that reminds me of some 70s albums I love, I will follow this artist much closer than I used to…! Top 5 Magicians of All Times in World Rugby

In my opinion, this is a great compilation by Fox Sports: Gareth Edwards is in, Campese and King Carlos as well, what else? skylyro’s Top 5 Albums of 2013, so far

Sting_The Last Ship

So far, but I guess there is nothing relevant coming out these last days of December, I have defined my preferences for this year’s music albums: compared to other previous years it looked like a pretty fruitful one, with many bands publishing new albums, such as KOL, PJ, Turin Brakes and Artic Monkeys, and major comebacks like David Bowie and Sting. Overall, I’d call it a good year these days, but in the end, wanting to take it down to the 5 best albums of 2013, there was not much competition… Continue reading “skylyro’s Top 5 Albums of 2013, so far”

saluzzi’s Top 10 Reasons Why He Prefers Vinyl

Some weeks ago, my dear friend Mr. SHRC posted an article to his blog, making a list of 10 reasons why he loves vinyl rather than any other support, or the sound of a digital file streamed on the Internet. I found it a great idea and thought it was a petty not to have it for an English audience, so I just translated it for you. You may find the original article here: 10 motivi per cui preferisco i Vinili

I like vinyl because:
